Dr. Aishwarya Krishna Priya (KP)

Founder, ACRO Mental Health & Wellness Services

Dr. Aishwarya Krishna Priya is a psychologist and mental health professional, and the founder of ACRO Mental Health & Wellness Services, an initiative dedicated to making psychological support more accessible to people experiencing emotional and mental health concerns.

Her academic journey spans Psychology, Mental Health, English Literature, Journalism and Human Resource Management, giving her a multidisciplinary understanding of people, behaviour, communication and wellbeing. She holds a BA in Psychology, English Literature & Journalism and an MA in Psychology from Osmania University, an MBA in Human Resource Management, and an MSc in Mental Health from King's College London, UK. She has also undertaken specialised training in Music Therapy.

With an international academic perspective and a strong interest in human behaviour, she approaches mental health with empathy, openness and a belief that psychological wellbeing should be accessible across different sections of society.

KP founded ACRO with the vision of creating a space where individuals can seek support without stigma, judgment or hesitation. Her work focuses on helping people understand themselves better, navigate psychological challenges and move towards healthier, more meaningful lives.

Supporting her journey is her father, Shashi Preetam, whose background in media, communication, creative strategy and public outreach complements her clinical and academic orientation. Together, they co-founded ACRO, with Shashi contributing to its strategic development, outreach, communication and creative initiatives, helping take mental-health awareness beyond the traditional clinical space.

Their collaboration brings together two complementary strengths — psychology and human understanding on one side, and communication, storytelling and public engagement on the other.
